The Hong Kong office of Laurence Simons handles private practice and in-house appointments in the Asia Pacific region with a particular focus on the Greater China region including Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei.
We work with a complete range of employers in the region from smaller niche practices to the major international law firms and from well-established in-house departments of multinationals and financial institutions to organisations seeking their first lawyer in Asia.
The office is run by Tara Brennan, a qualified lawyer with extensive experience of legal recruiting in Asia, but especially Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei. With over 10 years of recruitment experience, gained in Asia, our team in Hong Kong possesses an in-depth understanding of the legal market in Asia. Tara is supported by Karen Chan, a UK trained and qualified lawyer. The team covers the complete spectrum of appointments from newly qualified solicitors to equity partners and from ‘first movers’ in-house to senior general counsel.
