Laurence Simons’ Sydney office focuses on private practice and in-house recruitment throughout Australasia, as well as handling appointments across Asia Pacific in collaboration with our team in Hong Kong.
Personnel
Shelly Cater –A graduate of the Australian National University, Shelly was admitted to the NSW Supreme Court in 1998 and subsequently worked as a commercial litigator before gaining experience as a legal recruiter in both Sydney and London. Shelly returned to Australia at the beginning of 2005 to establish Laurence Simons' operation in Sydney.
Marrit Hagenbeek - Marrit is a graduate of the University of Amsterdam and she worked as a commercial lawyer in the media and entertainment industry for several years. Marrit joined Laurence Simons in 2007 and recruits lawyers for all levels for private practice from newly qualified to partners.
Location
Our local office is located in one of Sydney’s most prestigious buildings, the Chifley Tower, which dominates the city’s financial and legal district. The Tower is situated in Chifley Square, which is bounded by Philip Street, Hunter Street, Bent Street and Macquarie Street.
